This is the draft contents page for my preliminary product; I
think that the masthead size and font was effective as they appeal to my target
audience. The serif font is traditional and shows that the school are professional.
The block capitals however give it a modern feel therefore shows that the
school is forward thinking and up to date. Additionally, then I have decided to
carry on the colour scheme of blue, black and white as it ties in with the uniform
which makes the school look in order and professional. This is effective as not
only does it make the students feel comfortable to go to the school, but it
gives a good image for the parents so they feel happy about sending the
children to the school. One major thing that I have changed is the image, I feel
like the second photo I used it more fitting to use for my contents page. My first
reason is the green grass; it was difficult to work with the colour as it was
so different to the uniform. Additionally, the setting was the same that I used
for my cover page which doesn’t show what facilities the school has, which is
important when students are choosing a sixth form.
