Planning (for Main Task - Music Magazine) NAMES AND MASTHEAD

To research for the preferred font for my magazine, I asked 14 females ages 16-25 which name they preferred. I asked this age and gender as it would be most accurate to my target audience and the information I get from this sample would be a lot more useful if I asked a mixed gender and age sample. 10 of the 14 preferred the name 'Modesque' which was over 70%. The rest of the votes were equal for the others. This clearly showed that the other names didn’t stand out and therefor would not be effective to use for my target audience. 

I believe that the font I chose from dafont.com called ‘wrestle mania’ will work for my target audience as it is feminine with a curly S which is unique and elegant additionally it is different with the way it is underlined which is effective as it shows that the magazine is unique and forward thinking. The colour black will work as it will still stand out against my black and white image and will fit into the patriotic housetyle that I have chosen. I also think that this makes my magazine look more modern and up to date as no one has used this font before. Furthermore, the use of a unique font will make the magazine more recognisable when it’s on  the shelves and make people want to read it.
